- You need 100 grms of Jou (barley).
- It's 1 of Litter Milk.
- You need 1/2 cup of jaggery.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of chopped Dates.
- You need 1/2 tsp of green cardemom powder.
- It's of Water as required (for soaking).
- You need of Almonds (as required).
- You need 1 tbls of cream.

- First step is Soaked the barley in water (as required) for 2 to 3 hours. Then heat up milk, when it simmers add soaked barley with out water. Cook for 10 minutes on low flame..
- Add dates and jaggery in the milk. Cook untill it's thicken. When the bubbles on top of the milk mixture appears, it's means barley porridge is ready..
